Position Overview:

Avina Fresh Produce Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Farm Supervisor to oversee and manage various agricultural operations. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning of our farm activities and maintaining high standards of productivity.

Requirements:
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Work Environment:
  • Exposure to dusty conditions.
  • Work in hot temperatures.
  • Odorous environments.
  • Outdoor settings.
  • Involvement with mushroom cultivation.
Work Setting:
  • Located in a rural area.
  • Staff accommodation is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform greenhouse cleaning and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate financial and production records.
  • Negotiate service agreements with clients.
  • Provide agricultural crop services effectively.
  • Coordinate and supervise general farm workers.
  • Ensure adherence to farm safety protocols.
  • Maintain quality control documentation.
  • Supervise crop-related operations efficiently.
  • Hire and train new staff members.
  • Operate various farm machinery.
  • Carry out general farm duties as required.
Supervision:
  • Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
Area of Specialization:
  • Expertise in agricultural crop services.
Security and Safety:
  • A criminal record check is mandatory.
Work Conditions:
