About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our team at AG MECHANICAL LTD. as a key member of our plumbing department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain and repair domestic, commercial and industrial plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • The Plumbing Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work conditions, including physically demanding tasks, bending, crouching, kneeling and handling heavy loads.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent hand-eye coordination and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the plumbing trade.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 40-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
