At Homewood Health, we're seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality financial services and supporting our organization's growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct data analysis and reporting to inform business decisions
- Participate in the period-end close process, including journaling transactions and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and monthly departmental variance reports, including detailed salary analysis
- Provide exceptional customer service and accounting expertise to cross-functional areas
- Support the annual budget process and ancillary reporting
- Accurately and timely submit Ministry reports, including quarterly MIS submissions and Ontario Health reports
- Two plus years of relevant accounting, data analysis, and financial reporting experience
- Superior Excel skills for advanced data manipulation and analysis
- University degree or College diploma in a related field
- Completion of, or close to completing, an accounting designation (CPA, CMA, ACCA, etc.)
- Experience with AS400, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Sage is considered an asset
