Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced Early Childhood Educators to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-12 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily routines, planning and implementing activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our children.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily routines, including bathing, diapering, and feeding infants and toddlers
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children
  • Lead activities, such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Assist with record-keeping and reporting
  • Encourage children to express their creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other staff members
  • Change diapers and assist with personal care
Requirements:
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent
  • Child Development Assistant (ECE Level 1) certification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
  • Food Allergy and Anaphylaxis Training
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
