About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at McIntyre Coatings Ltd. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the thermal integrity of our buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select the appropriate insulation type for each project
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to precise specifications using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, and pasting
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Apply waterproofing coatings to insulating materials
  • Fabricate and install removable insulation pads and covers
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding and rigging equipment
  • Remove hazardous insulation materials, such as asbestos and lead
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in insulation work
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
