Key Responsibilities:

  1. Architect, execute, and sustain scalable and dependable infrastructure on cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  2. Oversee and fine-tune Kubernetes clusters to guarantee optimal performance and availability.
  3. Design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines to enhance the software development process.
  4. Automate build, testing, and deployment workflows to boost efficiency and minimize errors.
  5. Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to maintain application health and performance.
  6. Evaluate system performance and proactively identify enhancement opportunities.
  7. Collaborate closely with development teams to comprehend their requirements and deliver infrastructure solutions.
  8. Provide assistance for production challenges, including on-call duties as necessary.
  9. Enforce and uphold security best practices to safeguard our systems and data.
  10. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps or analogous position.
  3. Demonstrated experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  4. Strong background in Linux/Unix system administration.
  5. Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
  6. Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  7. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  8. Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  9. Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
  10. Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  11. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  12. Self-driven and motivated with a keen attention to detail.

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficient in platform and JavaScript.
  2. Experience with framework for building APIs.
  3. Expertise in Fastify, recognized as the fastest HTTP framework in JavaScript.
  4. Proficient in TypeORM for SQL generation independent of database platforms.
  5. Knowledge of serverless cloud solutions such as Cloud Run and Cloud Functions.
  6. Familiarity with API Gateway for scalable server management.

Infrastructure Knowledge:

  1. Experience with memory caching techniques on application servers.
  2. Proficient in using Redis for remote caching and shareable central cache server.
  3. Understanding of multithreading using cluster package for load balancing.
  4. Ability to manage and run multiple microservices on servers.
  5. Capability to customize TypeORM for specific database platforms and Fastify for security enhancements.
  6. Experience with message queues to enhance service performance and request distribution.
  7. Knowledge of technologies such as Rapid MQ, Kafka, and Cloud Run services.
  8. Familiarity with various messaging topologies like Direct, Fan out, Topic, Header-based, and Publish/subscribe models.
  9. Proficient in using visualization tools such as Grafana and Kibana.
  10. Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, New Relic, and Datadog.
  11. Knowledge of ElasticSearch for building robust search engines.
