We are a fine dining restaurant specializing in Western and Indian cuisine. We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Culinary Artist to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Create new and innovative menu items that showcase our culinary expertise.
  • Culinary Leadership: Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player with excellent communication skills.
