About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Schedule Clerk to join our team at 2766329 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation schedules, managing personnel and equipment records, and ensuring the efficient operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Scheduling: Assign personnel to equipment and routes, and schedule work shifts to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity.
  • Record Management: Compile and maintain accurate records of equipment and personnel, including operating reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Route Planning: Plan the most efficient route schedules based on factors such as peak travel periods, holidays, special events, and construction.
  • Personnel Management: Review personnel availability and other pertinent information to establish schedule parameters and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Administrative Tasks: Process files and paperwork, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: Transportation company.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, tight deadlines, and attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and flexibility.
