Job Title: Boilermaker Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker Maintenance Specialist to join our team at MBEZ. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our boiler systems and heavy metal fabrication equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Develop and implement templates for efficient workflow
  • Supervise and train other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship
  • Set up and operate heavy-metal working machines to cut and shape metal into parts
  • Fit and weld parts together, and repair and maintain boilers and heavy-metal products
  • Perform informal inspections of completed welds and install fuel channels
  • Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators
Requirements:
  • Boilermaker Trade Certification
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
