Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials
  • Mix, Pour, and Spread Materials Such as Concrete and Asphalt
  • Assist Skilled Tradespersons in Framing Houses, Erecting Walls, and Building Roofs
  • Assist in Demolishing Buildings and Cleaning and Piling Salvaged Materials
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites
  • Tend or Feed Machines or Equipment Used in Construction
Work Environment

As a Construction Labourer and Helper, you will work outdoors in a variety of locations, including construction sites. You will be exposed to noisy and dusty environments, and will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots, a hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and ear plugs.

Requirements

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work long hours and lift heavy materials. You must be willing to travel regularly and work in a variety of locations.

We require you to have a valid driver's license and to be willing to travel regularly. Public transportation is available.
