Job Summary

West Coast Commodities Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Route Planning: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, taking into account traffic, road conditions, and weather.
  • Cargo Handling: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate logistics operations and ensure smooth delivery of goods.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including those related to hours of service, cargo security, and vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
