Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Join Honda Canada Inc. as a Senior Financial Analyst and contribute to the success of our Financial Control team. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing department, you will play a vital role in supporting the Division in all financial related activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets, expense budgets, and variance analysis.
  • Provide executive management and decision-making support, participating in monthly program meetings and budget review meetings.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and simulations for various levels of management.
  • Prepare executive summaries and presentations, including financial review summaries and executive presentations.
  • Provide professional financial management support to assigned departments and groups, including monthly expense variance analysis and identifying trends and analysis in financial performance.
  • Support business projects and initiatives that have financial implications, ensuring accurate costing and reporting.
Requirements:
  • College and/or university education, with a degree in accounting preferred.
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) required or actively pursuing.
  • 5 years of working experience, with a preference for experience in accounting or financial roles.
  • Strong financial expertise, ethics, and judgment.
  • Solid foundation in Excel and MS Office, with SAP experience an asset.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • High level of interpersonal and teamwork skills to foster productive relationships with customers.
  • Proven standard of initiative, accuracy, and work ethic to achieve difficult deliverables.
