Animal Health Specialist

As an Animal Health Technician at Charles River Laboratories, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting biological samples (blood, urine, etc.)
- Collecting and recording data (body weight, food consumption, clinical signs, etc.)
- Administering injections (subcutaneous, intramuscular, etc.)
- Providing animal care and handling
- Cleaning and maintaining animal rooms
Key Qualifications
- College Diploma in Animal Health, Bioecology, or a related Animal Science discipline
- Bachelor's degree in biology or a related discipline
- Excellent observation and communication skills
- Ability to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
- Understanding of written English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferable
