About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at KASO MAHARAJ. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Household Duties: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Exercise and Mobility: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, and provide support with mobility.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; bending, crouching, and kneeling; repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, initiative, reliability, patience, and honesty.
