About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tobacco Packer to join our team at Tricanna Industries Inc. as a key member of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with precision and efficiency.
  • Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines, ensuring accurate quantities and quality control.
  • Feed flattened boxes into forming machines to construct containers, maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
  • Remove filled containers from conveyors, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, demonstrating manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Feed and unload processing machines, collaborating with process control and machine operators to optimize production.
  • Conduct quality checks on products and packaging, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas, maintaining a safe and organized environment.
Requirements
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, with manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Standing for extended periods, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handling heavy loads, with physical stamina and ability to work under pressure.
