Overview

At KPMG Canada, you'll be part of a dynamic team of professionals who share a common goal: delivering exceptional results for our clients and communities. As a Senior Manager, Advisory Communications, you'll play a key role in shaping the communications strategy for our Advisory business unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute national internal and external communications strategies to support the Advisory business unit's strategic objectives and service offerings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the organization to understand business developments, build thoughtful messaging, and execute flawlessly.
  • Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders through high-quality work, strategic planning, and attention to detail.
  • Manage all aspects of the communications strategy and execution, ensuring consistent service delivery, identifying areas to increase value, mitigating issues, and bringing solutions that align with the vision of the Advisory leadership team.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and translate that knowledge into messages, including identifying earned media opportunities and risks, that align to business priorities.
  • Create communications using a variety of mediums in multiple voices intended for different audiences.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in communications roles, with 5+ years of experience at a senior level, developing strategic internal communications strategies and supporting executive communications.
  • Exceptional writing skills with the ability to capture leadership voices in an engaging manner.
  • Proven media relations experience.
  • Excellent executive presence and comfort presenting ideas to senior stakeholders/executives.
  • Ability to deliver high-level, professional work quickly.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Experience working in a complex matrix-style organizational structure.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to spot and leverage synergies across teams and organizations.
  • Detail and deadline-oriented.
  • Self-directed individual with an eagerness to excel and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
  • This position requires written and oral fluency in English.
  • Experience in high-growth industries, advisory services, or capital markets is an asset.
