Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at S M Software Solutions Inc. as a key member of our Avionics Software Development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect user needs and feedback to design and develop software tools that meet critical development standards.
  • Develop and test software tools using programming languages such as Matlab, Simulink, Python, and others.
  • Document tool architecture, developer guides, and user guides.
  • Support the deployment of processes and tools.
  • Analyze and reproduce problems, and propose solutions.
  • Implement and test fixes.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Good written knowledge of English and French.
  • Proficiency in automated development and verification environments and tool sets.
  • Experience with configuration management, programming languages, and FPGA programming.
Working Conditions:
  • Hybrid work mode: work on premises at least three days a week, and remotely on other days.
  • During integration phases, a greater presence on premises may be required.
Technology:
  • Programming languages: Matlab, Simulink, Python, and others.
  • Optional: programming languages such as Database, Java, Javascript/Typescript, C/C++.
  • Optional: object-oriented and/or multi-core programming.
