The Senior Project Manager, Back of House Technology will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our back-of-house operations.

- Experience developing product enhancements, navigating change management, and planning product launches with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and timely execution.
- Gather and analyze user feedback to inform product decisions and articulate a vision and product roadmap.
- Experience in understanding and prioritizing user needs and the intersection of technology to deliver positive business results.
- Experience with supply chain, warehouse management, or materials inventory management, and workforce management solutions is an asset.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for back-of-house technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in back-of-house operations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including requirements gathering, prioritization, development, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, create detailed specifications, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, IT, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure product solutions address their challenges.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with external technology vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure optimal performance and value from third-party solutions.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of back-of-house technology solutions.
- Continuously monitor product performance and user feedback, and implement improvements as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs for restaurant staff to ensure effective use of back-of-house technology.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for technology-related issues in the back-of-house environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product or project management, with a focus on technology solutions in the quick service restaurant, retail or service industry.
- Strong understanding of back-of-house operations in a quick service restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing technology products from concept to launch.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with external vendors and managing vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software development methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in systems such as POS, order management, and restaurant or hospitality workflows.
- Knowledge in systems such as Clearview, Restaurant365, PAR Data Central and Cloud-Based Restaurant Inventory, Order and Waste management solutions is an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
