Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement effective warehouse procedures to ensure accurate inventory management and timely shipment of goods.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and procedures.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics or related field preferred.
