We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Architect to lead our Industrial and Mining projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and delivery of complex industrial and mining facilities, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, heavy industrial facilities, process facilities, surface mining facilities, and mine maintenance facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects and design teams to drive projects forward and ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with team members as part of an integrated project team, including execution, design, and reporting.
- Engage with clients throughout all project stages, from definition to construction, to understand their needs and manage and deliver projects.
- Liaise with clients, engage in business development activities, and participate in the preparation of proposals, reports, specifications, contract documents, and budget estimates.
- Complete Ontario Building Code and National Building Code reviews on industrial/mining facilities and stamp architectural working drawings, reports, etc.
- Prepare design budgets, manage projects, manage staff, and design fees.
- Travel between JLR offices as required to meet project needs and/or training purposes.
