We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Alberta Limited. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
- Prepare and cook meals to the highest standards, taking into account customer dietary requirements and preferences.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a high level of service and quality.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-equipped kitchen.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
