We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kush Construction Ltd. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes and regulations.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials such as wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel to construct building frameworks.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of buildings.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete the building envelope.
- Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate existing buildings and wooden structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the building trades industry.
- Permanent employment with a reputable construction company.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week of work, with occasional overtime required.
