Role Summary:

As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for the effective management of product displays and inventory at retail locations. Your role will involve ensuring that the products are well-presented and accessible to consumers, thereby maximizing sales potential. This position requires a commitment to excellence in merchandising and the ability to travel frequently within your designated area.

Candidate Profile:

  • Availability for shifts from 6am to 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays bi-weekly

Responsibilities:

The Retail Merchandiser will engage in various tasks to ensure that client standards are upheld and sales volumes are enhanced. Responsibilities include:

  • Constructing and maintaining product displays according to planograms
  • Ensuring compliance with merchandising standards
  • Executing merchandising requests from clients
  • Participating in seasonal resets and new store setups
  • Reporting on merchandising activities electronically

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience is required.

Experience: A minimum of one year in merchandising is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience in merchandising, grocery, or cosmetics is advantageous
  • Ability to interpret planograms and assemble displays
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Basic computer and internet proficiency

Work Environment:

This role involves considerable physical activity and may require working in retail environments, including cold storage areas. The ability to lift and move products, as well as to travel as needed, is essential for success in this position.
