Position Overview

Join our dedicated team at Tri-Community HR Ops as a Personal Support Worker specializing in nursing care. This is a permanent role where you will provide essential support to individuals in need.

Work Environment

The position involves working in a home care setting, including visiting care in rural areas and clients' residences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany clients during outdoor activities to promote well-being.
  • Assist in the cleaning, sterilization, and setup of medical apparatus.
  • Perform various tasks to ensure patient comfort and care.
  • Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Provide meal assistance and support with feeding.
  • Help with the mobility of patients, including lifting and positioning.
  • Deliver important messages and documents between departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in patient rooms.
  • Administer basic medical procedures as required.
  • Keep track of medical supplies and inventory.
  • Support personal hygiene by bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Facilitate patient transport between care facilities.
  • Respond to patient needs promptly.
  • Provide first aid in emergencies.
  • Conduct light housekeeping duties as necessary.

Transportation Requirements

A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required for this role.

Physical Demands

This position may involve:

  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
