Relief Pharmacist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacies and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients
• Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs
• Counsel patients on new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner
• Create awareness and educate customers through public health initiatives and community outreach programs
• Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor's requests/issues
• Review and control costs at all levels within the pharmacy
• Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for pharmacy colleagues

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist's license
• Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
• Excellent leadership and performance management skills
• Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
• Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy system
