David Aplin Recruiting is collaborating with a prominent real estate firm to find a skilled Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk. This role encompasses both financial responsibilities and administrative support within a professional setting.

Contract Duration: This position is a temporary engagement with opportunities for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Transactions: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring meticulous attention to detail.
  2. Payment Processing: Efficiently manage trade record sheets for accurate posting and payments.
  3. Invoicing: Handle invoicing for real estate transactions and assist with general conveyancing duties.
  4. Research Tasks: Conduct necessary research, including pulling land titles and tax records.
  5. Deposits: Accurately process electronic money deposits.
  6. Account Auditing: Regularly reconcile Trust and General accounts to maintain financial integrity.
  7. Reception Support: Provide backup for reception duties, including call management.
  8. Software Skills: Utilize Sage 50 for accounting tasks, with advanced Excel capabilities required.
  9. Administrative Duties: Manage office supplies, mail, and other general administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 2 years of comprehensive experience in accounts payable and receivable.
  2. Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  3. Advanced Excel proficiency is essential.
  4. Experience with Sage 50 is advantageous.
  5. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently.
  6. Background in real estate or commercial transactions is a plus.
  7. A proactive demeanor with strong communication abilities.
