Job Summary: Q-Block Computing is seeking a highly skilled Nanofabrication Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technologies in sensing, communication, and computation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Nanofabrication: Design and execute wet and dry processes, including electroplating, electropolishing, chemical etching, plasma, ICP-RIE, UV/e-beam lithography, post-processing, and characterization.
  • Process Development: Develop and optimize nanofabrication and thin film deposition processes for integrated photonic devices.
  • Cleanroom Organization and Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized cleanroom environment, adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to achieve technical milestones.
  • Continuous Learning: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in nanofabrication, with a preference for nanophotonics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in nanofabrication of Si3N4 photonic devices.
  • Basic knowledge of nanofabrication and material science.
  • Ability to travel between facilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
