Job Summary: Q-Block Computing is seeking a highly skilled Nanofabrication Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantum technologies in sensing, communication, and computation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nanofabrication: Design and execute wet and dry processes, including electroplating, electropolishing, chemical etching, plasma, ICP-RIE, UV/e-beam lithography, post-processing, and characterization.
- Process Development: Develop and optimize nanofabrication and thin film deposition processes for integrated photonic devices.
- Cleanroom Organization and Maintenance: Ensure a clean and organized cleanroom environment, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional R&D teams to achieve technical milestones.
- Continuous Learning: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's or PhD in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in nanofabrication, with a preference for nanophotonics.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in nanofabrication of Si3N4 photonic devices.
- Basic knowledge of nanofabrication and material science.
- Ability to travel between facilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of responsibility.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
