Lead SOX Compliance Manager - Financial Sector

IFG International Financial Group Ltd is in search of a Lead SOX Compliance Manager to oversee compliance for our financial operations. This role is pivotal for candidates with a robust background in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SOX compliance requirements, including the identification of significant accounts for SOX and the documentation of Financial Processing Controls and General Entity Controls.
  • Formulate and uphold SOX Policies, Standards, and Procedures aligned with global operational risk management frameworks.
  • Assist the Finance Shared Services Risk Management team, Disclosure Committee, and Audit Committee with SOX reporting, audits, and related projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience within financial institutions.
  • In-depth understanding of financial markets.
  • Current accreditation and good standing in a professional accounting or auditing designation, or progression towards these certifications.
  • Experience with audits and SOX compliance controls.
  • Proficient in Excel, including the use of Pivot tables and Formulas.
