We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist II to join our Hospital Pharmacy team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our interprofessional team, you will provide pharmacy services to patients in Northern Health, assessing and recommending individualized treatments, and acting as the primary resource for drug information and education.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and recommend individualized treatments for patients
- Act as the primary resource for drug information and education
- Monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure safe and effective use of medications
- Maintain accurate records and statistics
- Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy and current licensure with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program or a combination of at least one year of hospital experience and advanced education courses
- Active membership in the Canadian Society of Hospital Pharmacists is encouraged
- Comprehensive benefit packages, including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service
- Financial Support for Moving Expenses is available for eligible positions
