Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our esteemed team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive an unparalleled dining experience characterized by exceptional service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a consistently outstanding experience for all patrons.
  • Provide knowledgeable and personalized service to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Train and supervise dining room staff to uphold our high standards of service.
  • Manage seating arrangements and greet guests to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
  • Conduct pre-meal briefings with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
  • Oversee the appearance and setup of dining tables, ensuring all details are attended to.
  • Assist with scheduling and assigning tasks to dining room personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records related to staff attendance and special events.
  • Support team members on the floor as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as required to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, and lift items throughout the shift.

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years in food and beverage roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of fine dining service protocols.
  • Experience in front-of-house operations within a fine dining establishment is preferred.
  • Smart Serve certification is required.
