About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Worker Supervisor to join our team at Westport Inn. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for planning and directing grounds maintenance, ensuring that our property is well-maintained and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement effective maintenance plans to ensure the upkeep of our grounds, including landscaping, gardening, and other related tasks.
  • Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct thorough assessments to estimate the resources required for maintenance projects, ensuring that we stay within budget.
  • Tender and Administer Contracts: Source and manage contracts with external vendors, ensuring that we receive the best value for our money.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment, ensuring that it is in good working order.
  • Requisition or Order Materials: Source and procure materials and supplies as needed, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Resolve Work Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during maintenance tasks, providing technical advice and guidance to team members.
