Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our System Integrity team as an Engineering Co-op. This is a full-time temporary student co-op opportunity with an 8-month term.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in various assignments related to geotechnical-related and pipeline in-line inspection (ILI) data analysis tasks, such as:
  • Executing geotechnical and hydrotechnical hazard management programs involving site visits, site inspection coordination with multiple stakeholders, inspection report and blast request review, record management, etc.
  • Validating ILI related data, performing data analyses on various ILI data sets, and developing data analysis procedures.
  • Providing support for other pipeline integrity management activities and assessments, as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Engineering Student (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or Geological) - Third or Fourth year preferred.
  • Enrolled in a Co-op program.
  • Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or knowledge with Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), statistical analysis and/or data management tools would be an asset.
  • Experience with report and memo writing in a corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
