  • Creating a conducive learning atmosphere within the classroom.
  • Utilizing Portfolio Based Language Assessment to track student progress.
  • Designing and implementing real-world tasks that reflect Canadian cultural contexts.
  • Providing ongoing assessment and constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records and portfolio documentation.
  • Identifying and utilizing resources to enrich language training.
  • Crafting module and lesson plans that cater to various proficiency levels.
  • Engaging students in activities that promote understanding of Canadian employment culture.
  • Participating in opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Adhering to the regulations and policies established by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English language acquisition or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in English language instruction.
  • Familiarity with technological applications and current industry trends.
  • Proficiency in learner portfolio teaching methodologies.
  • Strong group facilitation capabilities.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, equivalent to CLB 11.
  • Able to work effectively with a diverse adult student population.
  • Competent in using MS Office Suite software.
  • Commitment to valuing diversity in the learning environment.
