Job Title: Machine Designer

Glider Systems Inc is seeking a skilled Machine Designer to join our team. As a Machine Designer, you will be responsible for creating manufacturing instructions, user manuals, and assisting in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create manufacturing instructions and user manuals
  • Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
  • Assist in preparing design, drawings, and specifications
  • Design tools, moulds, jigs, and fixtures
  • Carry out mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications
  • Test machines and equipment
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
  • Valid driver's license and own transportation
  • Willingness to travel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure
