About the Role

Talent Employment Inc is seeking a highly skilled Data Control Supervisor to join our team. As a Data Control Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our data management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide on-the-job training to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on data quality, system performance, and other key metrics.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all data management equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve data-related problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Establish work schedules and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a data management or related field.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Security and Safety: Ability to pass a criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Ability to support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
  • Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
