Position Overview

The Beverage Procurement Specialist at CANOE RESTAURANT plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and availability of beverages. This position requires a blend of education and experience to effectively manage beverage selection and supplier relationships.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college program or equivalent diploma lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year but less than 2 years in a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Organize products in accordance with established planograms.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with beverage suppliers.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Negotiate pricing, discounts, credit terms, and logistics with suppliers.
  • Supervise the distribution of beverage products to various outlets.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Assess the needs of the establishment to determine the quantity and type of beverages to procure.
  • Select and acquire beverages for resale.
  • Oversee the activities of other purchasing staff.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
