About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Taxcare Professional Corporation. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be expected to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

The working language of this position is English.
