About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Culbert's Bakery Ltd. as a Baker. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as required.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory.
Work Environment

As a Baker at Culbert's Bakery Ltd., you will work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye co-ordination, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
