Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
This position is primarily based on an offshore drilling rig, where safety is paramount.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver training and information to staff and the public regarding safety practices.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct inspections for hazardous spills and workplace safety issues.
- Investigate incidents related to workplace accidents or health concerns.
- Oversee the training and development of safety protocols.
- Create and execute comprehensive health and safety plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Provide guidance to senior management on safety matters.
- Assess work environments and procedures to mitigate risks of injury or illness.
- Examine products and processes to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
