About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Appliance Service Technician to join our team at Kampen Appliance Service. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch repair and maintenance services for a wide range of electrical appliances.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic tests using electrical test equipment to identify faults and issues with appliances.
  • Prepare detailed estimates of repair costs and provide clear explanations to customers.
  • Use schematic drawings and product manuals to repair and replace faulty components.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical appliances and components, ensuring all work is done to the highest standards.
  • Advise customers on the condition of their equipment and provide recommendations for future maintenance.
  • Operate shop equipment and specialized diagnostic and programming apparatus to repair, adjust, and reprogram appliances.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for on-the-road job requirements.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads and standing for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • 3+ years of experience in appliance repair and maintenance, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
