Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

Nuco Restorations Inc is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting in various construction tasks, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the guidance of experienced personnel.
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
  • Help in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings, safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy work environment.
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, ensuring a safe working area.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, under the supervision of experienced operators.
Requirements:
  • Will train, but prior experience in construction is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with physical demands and repetitive tasks.
  • Capacity to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks.
  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 35 hours per week, with a regular schedule.
