The Developer Infrastructure team at Robinhood is responsible for building a platform that enables engineering to build with quality, velocity, and confidence. We're a group of passionate and talented individuals who are dedicated to driving systemic improvements to our development processes and culture.

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Developer, DevX to join our team. As a key member of our Developer Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for building process optimization, continuous integration, tooling development and optimization, remote developer environment, and artifact lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement process optimization solutions to improve engineering efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain continuous integration pipelines to ensure seamless deployment of software
  • Build and optimize tooling to support engineering workflows
  • Design and implement remote developer environments to enhance collaboration and productivity
  • Develop and maintain artifact lifecycle management systems to ensure efficient software deployment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related technical fields and 8 years+ experience in the industry
  • Strong coding skills with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, Go, or similar languages
  • Expertise in CI/CD optimization, release engineering, dev tooling or test automation framework development
  • Expertise in Monorepos and modern build systems (i.e., Bazel, Buck)
  • Strong technical skills, excellent prioritization, and a focus on reliability, scalability, and correctness

What We Offer

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood's equity plan.
