The Culinary Support Staff at STARHOUSE FOOD CORPORATION plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This position involves various tasks that contribute to the overall functionality of the food service operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sanitation: Ensure tables, trays, and chairs are cleared and cleaned regularly.
  • Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of food quantities utilized.
  • Food Packaging: Prepare take-out meals by packaging food appropriately.
  • Food Preparation: Portion and wrap food items as needed.
  • Stocking: Maintain stocked refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of ingredients.
  • Customer Interaction: Take and process customer orders efficiently.
  • Cleaning Supplies Handling: Safely manage and store cleaning products.
  • Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in designated storage areas.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen waste and garbage regularly.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish kitchen floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as required.
Qualifications
  • Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
