About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Duron Atlantic Limited. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently to support the construction process.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the construction site by performing tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and disposing of waste materials.
  • Participate in the implementation of safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Work site environment: The Construction Laborer will work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Work setting: The Construction Laborer will work on a construction site.
  • Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses: A Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate is required.
  • Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional, roads and bridges, sidewalks, and curbs.
  • Transportation/travel information: The Construction Laborer is expected to have their own transportation.
  • Screening questions: The candidate must be legally able to work in Canada and have previous experience in this field of employment.
  • Health benefits: Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits are available.
  • Financial benefits: A Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) is available.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 55 hours per week.
