Early Childhood Educator

Responsibilities:
* Assess children\u2019s development and create personalized learning plans
* Assist colleagues with household duties and meal preparation
* Care for infants and toddlers, including bathing, diapering, and feeding
* Develop and implement engaging child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
* Maintain daycare equipment and ensure a safe and healthy environment
* Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
* Guide children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits
* Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
* Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and report to parents or supervisors
Requirements:
* College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years
* Child development assistant (ECE level 1) or child development worker (ECE level 2) certification
* Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
* Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* CPR Certificate
* Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
