Occupational Therapist Job Description

Side by Side ABA Therapy is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work one-on-one with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families, delivering evidence-based interventions in the children's home.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments in a home setting using standardized tools to identify areas of need.
  • Develop treatment plans based on evidence-based information, best practices, and clinical expertise.
  • Engage clients, families, and caregivers to address client-centered goals.
  • Provide coaching to clients and families to support goal attainment.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and client progress.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children and teens with Autism.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Professional liability insurance.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • ADP authorizer status is an asset.
