We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Adjuster to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating commercial property claims with a focus on physical damage and cargo claims through loss investigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate commercial property claims and negotiate settlements in accordance with provincial licensing requirements.
- Conduct loss investigations and provide recommendations for claim resolution.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in claims handling.
Requirements:
- 10 or more years of functional and technical claims handling experience in cargo, commercial property, and transportation claims.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex policies and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members.
- Licensed or CIP and/or FCIP designation.
- Strong report writing skills and ability to produce high-quality documentation.
