Job Title: Painter

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at James Painting Ltd. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Work Environment

Our work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. As a Painter, you will work outdoors and at heights, and will be required to relocate to various locations.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in painting or a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
