Job Summary:

The Sales Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they have the necessary training and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the sales floor is always fully stocked.
  • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that the sales team is working efficiently and effectively.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that the sales floor is always fully stocked.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
