Educational Requirements

Work Environment

The position is based in a retail and wholesale distribution center, which may involve working in dusty conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness in both the shop and warehouse areas.
  • Perform essential clerical tasks to support inventory management.
  • Facilitate the pickup and delivery of materials as needed.
  • Process documentation and manage paperwork efficiently.
  • Provide accurate information regarding available materials.
  • Handle international purchase orders from initiation to completion.
  • Source price quotations from various suppliers and catalogs.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders effectively.
  • Address and resolve delivery issues and other supplier-related challenges.
  • Establish and maintain an effective inventory control system.
  • Verify stock availability and reconcile physical inventories with system counts.
  • Compile and analyze inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and monitor inventory levels.
  • Unpack and verify goods received against packing slips.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential for this role.

Transportation Requirements

Having your own transportation is necessary for this position.
